The Microsoft cloud gaming service is officially available in 26 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Which countries support Xbox cloud gaming? It’s not on every game though – even some of Microsoft’s own, like Forza Horizon 4, don’t seem to have the upgrade yet. The Verge’s Tom Warren spotted the option to run certain games at 120fps or with enhanced graphics, while those games are also enjoying faster load times. In fact, although Microsoft hasn’t announced it officially, those updates are already rolling out to select titles. Microsoft says that it will continue to update and add more features over time to make the most of the Series X servers. Xbox Series X hardware, streaming at 1080p and up to 60fps “to ensure the lowest latency, highest quality experience across the broadest set of devices.”
Instead, they’re streamed from Microsoft’s servers. You won’t need to download the games that you play. Selecting Play will boot the game through Xbox Cloud Gaming and it will create a tab amongst the recently played games on the Dashboard, allowing the player to boot it up from the system menu, rather than needing to go through the Xbox Game Pass app again.Whatever the name, it’s Microsoft’s entry into the burgeoning cloud gaming scene, offering players the chance to stream their favourite Xbox titles straight to their phone and other devices. If they click on the game's icon, then a tab labeled "Play" with a small cloud symbol should be present next to the Install icon. In order to use cloud gaming, the player needs to find the game they want to play on Xbox Game Pass. If the game is installed, then it cannot be played through cloud gaming.
Once the game is uninstalled, the cloud symbol will appear on the icon. The cloud symbol won't appear if the game is installed to the player's system. Once the update is finished, all games that can be used with Xbox Cloud Gaming will have a small cloud symbol on the bottom right of their icon. It cannot be used until the latest firmware update has been applied. In order to use Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S systems, a system update is required.
